The South Fork of the Shoshone is a smaller version of the North Fork of the Shoshone. The South Fork is high and off color right now and will probably stay that way for the next month. Fish the edges with large, dark, stone fly nymphs for the best results
Flies: Tan North Fork Specials, Copper Johns, Pheasant Tails, Hares ears, Prince Nymphs, Halfbacks, Rubber leg Nymphs, Stimulators, Para Adams, Midge Pupa and Dries, 20 inchers, and Soft hackles.
