Lower Shoshone Tail water

July 17, 2018 9:00 am

The Lower Shoshone has had a couple tough years in a row. High water and heavy runoff push tons of sediment in to the reservoir, which ends up blowing out the lower Shoshone. However, as we move close to August we expect this river to clear and start fishing well.

CFS: 1600

Flies: Firebead sowbug, Purple and Peacock Prince, Black North Fork Specials, San Juan Worms, Midge pupa, Pheasant Tails, Bloody Mary’s, Jigged Soft Hackles,  Rubber legged streamers and leech patterns. Water is off color.
