Closed to any kind of fishing from Gibbs Bridge to Newton Creek Until July 1st, 2019. (Annual closure to protect mature spawning rainbow and cutthroat)
The North Fork blew out at Gunbarrel Creek Friday. Expect the river to fish better as cooler weather enters the area next week. The trout are also showing up in greater numbers above Newton Creek. The flows have increased by 2/3 since Thusday, 4/18. Water quality is poor today.
If you like early spring fishing when the crowds are down, please call and reserve a guide for float or walk/wade guided trips. North Fork Anglers expects to be busy guiding the upper stretch until snow melt and runoff impact the river sometime in late May.
