The Bighorn flows have been dropping now that runoff has slowed down above Boysen Dam. Nymph fishing is the name of the game with some hopper and caddis action later in the day.
CFS: 2411 – (estimate below Boysen Dam. Flow data not available every day.)
Flies: Nymphs are still the most productive way to catch trout. San Juan Worms, Yum Yum, Small Pheasant Tails, Scuds, Sow Bugs, Yuk Bugs, Pats Rubber Legs, Jig-heads, Midge pupa, wire worm, and streamer patterns. Leeches, wooly buggers and cone-head zonkers, muddlers or your favorite streamers are also taking trout from boats particularly.
