Sunlight Creek

October 14, 2019 9:00 am

Fish beadhead nymphs size 10 and smaller in the pools and deeper runs. Attractor dries such as small royal trudes, royal Wulffs and parachute Adams are good dry fly choices. Water quality has been iffy due to snowmelt and rain. When clear, the creek can be fun to explore. Fish are scattered and few in number as one moves up the creek.

Little Sunlight Creek is clear and fishable at this posting. Trout are small brook trout with some Yellowstone cutthroat. Pack bear spray!
