All the lakes on the Wyoming side of the Beartooth Mountains are fishing great. Enjoy! If going to the lakes past Top of the World, the road is in rough shape and there will be delays in places where road work is going on.
Bear Creek is high but will fish well with dries or dry/dropper rigs.
For lakes – leeches, small buggers and nymphs should get action sub-surface. Dries will be Griffith’s gnats, small parachute Adams, ants, beetles, caddis and royal trudes or Wulff’s. Beartooth Creek and Lake Creek will be the same. Wade carefully if crossing the creeks!
Pack bear spray and mosquito repellent. Both are ferocious!!
