Dead Indian Creek

July 11, 2021 9:00 am

The creek is clear and fishable, although getting very low now. Fishing is better in the campround area and upstream from there.

Medium to small beadhead North Fork Specials, Prince nymphs and smaller Bead Head Pheasant tails always work. There are some size 8-6 golden stones and small caddis flying around. Dry/dropper rigs would be best.

Bears are active. If hiking around or fishing, pack bear spray!!

pheasantnymphs advised. Stream cover is tight.

Bear spray is essential when fishing this creek. Carry a loud whistle, too!!
