Bighorn / Wind River

975 CFS (approximately) BELOW BOYSEN DAM:   Head’s up for the Wind/Bighorn River!! Flushing flows are scheduled around March 27 on the Bighorn. Flows are to increase to 4000 cfs to 5000 cfs on the date above. The flush is only scheduled to last 24 hours and no other flushing flows are scheduled so far. We will do our best to let you know if another flush is coming.  Fishing has been  good in the Wind/Bighorn River near Thermopolis, WY. Lower Shoshone Tailwater

Flows:  560 cfs below Buffalo Bill Dam to Corbett Bridge.  Hey everyone. We wanted to give you a head’s up on the Bureau of Reclamation’s flow plans for the Lower Shoshone. Flows were increased to 560 3/15. This flow will continue until April 4 when the BuRec will increase flows to 5,000 cfs for 24 hours. April 5 and 6, the flows will be lowered to 3,000-3500 cfs.
