North Fork Anglers Hours of Operation and Cancellation Policies

Store Operation

In light of current COVID-19 events, North Fork Anglers wants to share our perspective and updates regarding bookings and store hours while trying to minimize the infection curve for COVID-19 this year.

Effective June 1st through June 15th, 2020, North Fork Anglers will be open for business: 7 days a week, 8:00 am to 6 pm.  From June 16th – October 15th, store hours will be 7 days a week, 8:00 am to 8 pm.

As professionals in the fly fishing industry for 35 years now, we want to assure you North Fork Anglers is 100% dedicated to keeping our fly shop employees, our professional fly fishing guides and our guests safe and COVID 19 free!

North Fork Anglers will provide hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for our guided trips and fly shop guests. Guide trip guests will have a chance to read and discuss in entirety our comprehensive COVID 19 Plans and Procedures before every guided trip. If you have a summer or fall guided trip already reserved, you should keep those dates on the books.

Now that restrictions are being lifted and personal freedoms are being restored, North Fork Anglers became immediately busy. We don’t want you to lose out on your previously or currently scheduled guided trip dates in our reservation book and system. If you have not booked a guided trip yet due to CV19 restrictions in the area you live, we recommend you do so as soon as you can. We want you to practice social distancing (aka ‘fishtancing’) in the wide-open spaces found in Wyoming.

Since May 15, 2020, Covid 19 restrictions, rules and recommendations seem to be constantly changing. To the point where no one actually knows what is safe and is not. That is maddening, scary and frustrating all at the same time. North Fork Anglers knows that and, again, is doing what we can to reassure we are going to do everything we can to keep you safe from CV19 while getting outdoors to fish with us in 2020.

Like everyone, we don’t know how this will eventually play out, but we are hoping for a brighter, healthier future for everyone. The media dwells on bad news while we focus on how great the fly fishing is and will be going forward in late spring and into the summer and fall fly fishing season. We personally believe that panic and worry is not how anyone wants to live life, especially our guides and just about every other angler we know that will be traveling to Cody to fish with North Fork Anglers. However, we are taking the CDC and State of Wyoming guidelines and recommendations seriously.

Our regular, returning guided trip anglers and retail customers, can attest to the fact that the North Fork Anglers’ Staff and Guide Team is made up of men and women who are fully dedicated to their occupations. Our guides rely on advanced bookings to plan their yearly income. Most guides earn the majority of their yearly income in just a few months of very hard work.

As an outfitter, we need to balance the requirements of our anglers with the responsibility of supporting our guides income, including the ability to let them make alternate arrangements for income, if needed, to support their families. It’s a delicate balancing act. Please know that our highest priority is to provide you with the most dedicated, capable and professional guides.

Thank you for understanding, and we respectfully ask that you consider your bookings or cancellations carefully.

Please feel free to contact us by phone or email with any questions or concerns. Remember to keep calm and fish often!

Sincerely,

Tim Wade, Owner/Outfitter
