I’m the trout that haunts your dreams! I’m elusive, cunning, ornery, and mean. I would love nothing better than to take a swipe at your fly and make you look like an ass while you set the hook prematurely. My mouth is as hard as metal, so good luck sinking a hook in it. I’m the trout who created a whole genre of flat brimmed bros that make YouTube videos about chucking meat. Psssssst…you can also catch us on dries and nymphs, but don’t tell the bros.

Maybe I’m not the smartest trout around. Maybe I’m not the best fighter either, but there are a few things that none of these transplants have over me. I’m a native fish and I’m freakin’ beautiful! They’ve got nothin’ on this sexy piece of slab! Try and find another trout willing to eat your poorly presented fly. I make all you so called “fly fishermen” look good.

I’m not sure why I wasn’t introduced first. I live in pretty much every stream, river, and lake west of the Mississippi. Me and my friends are so popular! We’re like the coolest of all the trout. We like to school up together and feast like crazy. We keep everyone’s rods bent all day long. RESPECT!
