    CONDITIONS: The Low Sho is clear and fishing well. Nymph rigs and streamers are producing the most trout. Be careful while wading because the water is high.

    CONDITIONS: The Bighorn is fishing great right now but the grass is becoming an issue. Worm's, sow's, perdigon's, Zirdles, Yuk Bugs, scuds, and midges. The fish have moved from the deeper runs into the shallow riffles because of the warm water conditions.

    CONDITIONS: The upper North Fork has 2-3 feet of visibility and is fishing well when you can find slower moving water. Nymph rigs are still the ticket with heavy tippet and leader. Try fishing a large stonefly nymph with a jigged attractor nymph below.

    Don’ forget, the North Fork is closed to fishing from Gibbs bridge up to Newton Creek until July 1st.

    CONDITIONS: The South Fork is fishing well in the valley school section on the colder days but expect mud on the warmer days. Nymphing has been the most productive tactic with stonefly nymphs and various jig attractors.

    The Game and Fish Department is reporting that a large number of bears are roaming around the South Fork river corridor. Be safe and take the proper precautions while fishing.

    CONDITIONS: The river is off color lower down due to snow melt. Fish closer to the canyon mouth or near the hatchery on the cooler days for the best conditions. Nymphing has been the most productive method for catching fish with stonefly nymphs and various jigged attractors. Look for salmon flies to start hatching.

    FLIES: Hares Ear, Pheasant Tails, Zebra midges, Ice cream cones, Balanced leeches, Thin mints, Slump busters, Callibaetis nymphs and dries, Scuds, Soft hackled jigged nymphs, streamers damsels.

    CONDITIONS: The East and West lake’s are starting to warm up. I would avoid fishing them during the middle of the day focus more on the mornings and evenings. Fish are taking small damsel nymphs and dries, suspended chironomids and balanced leeches, and slow stripped scuds and callibaetis nymphs and dries.

    CONDITIONS: Both lakes are open and fishing well. Try fishing midge pupa suspended from an indicator or slow stripping scuds, callibaetis nymphs, and damsel nymphs and dries. Don’t be afraid to start trying terrestrials on the warmer days and look for Callibaetis to be hatching.

    CONDITIONS: The river is high and muddy at the moment and will probably stay that way until we get some cooler weather. Your best option is to fish the mornings and use deep nymph rigs.
