CONDITIONS: The low sho has started to clear up from the recent rain storms. We have 3 feet of visibility and its getting better by the day. Nymphs and streamers have been consistently picking up fish with some fish coming up for caddis on overcast days. -
Bighorn \ Wind River

CONDITIONS: The Bighorn is fishing great right now! Worm's, sow's, perdigon's, BWO nymphs, scuds, and midges. Fish are congregated in the deeper runs. We are also seeing fish up on BWO’s and Caddis during the warmest part of the day. -
North Fork Shoshone River

CONDITIONS: There is a good amount of fish in the system right now but water conditions are changing on a day to day basis. The best fishing will be on the colder days until runoff is over. Nymph rigs are the ticket with heavy tippet and leader. Try fishing a large stonefly nymph with a jigged attractor nymph below.
Don’ forget, the North Fork is closed to fishing from Gibbs bridge up to Newton Creek until July 1st.

South Fork of the Shoshone

FLIES: North Fork Specials, Meat heads, Bloody Mary’s, Chubby cousins, Optic Nerves, Jigged prince, Lucent Prince, Walts Worm, Midges, BWO's, Streamers.
CONDITIONS: The South Fork is fishing well in the valley school section on the colder days. Nymphing has been the most productive tactic for catching fish but keep your eyes open for fish taking Skwala’s and March Brown’s on the surface.
The Game and Fish Department is reporting that a large number of bears are roaming around the South Fork river corridor. Be safe and take the proper precautions while fishing.

CONDITIONS: The river is off color lower down due to snow melt. Fish closer to the canyon mouth or near the hatchery for the best conditions. Nymphing has been the most productive method for catching fish but keep your eyes out for March Browns and Skwala’s. -

CONDITIONS: The East and West lake’s are fishing great!. Fish are taking small streamers stripped from the bank, suspended chironomids and balanced leeches, and slow stripped scuds and callibaetis nymphs.

CONDITIONS: Both lakes are open and fishing well. Try fishing midge pupa suspended from an indicator or slow stripping scuds and callibaetis nymphs. Don’t be afraid to start trying terrestrials on the warmer days.
